Global Associate Brand Director, IO - Bladder Cancer

The Bladder Cancer franchise is a new and growing therapeutic area for Immuno-Oncology where we are planning to launch 4 indications within a 24-month period.
As part of the Global Commercial IO Franchise, we have an outstanding opportunity for a talented and passionate Global Associate Brand Director. You will report to the Global Commercial Head – IO, GU/Gyn/Breast, while working closely with the Global Brand Director and Integrated Business Team (IBT) to drive aligned strategy and execution in partnership with global cross-functional partners and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Global Brand Director on the development of the Global Brand Strategy and Launch Plan development in collaboration with functional teams and key markets.
Lead the Global Indication Team to drive brand strategy implementation, tactical planning, and execution of key launch deliverables in partnership with Global cross-functional partners, regions and local markets.
Lead the Global Launch Community and partner with key markets to ensure launch readiness, set KPIs, and understand market evolutions and performance drivers/barriers.
Integrate insights to shape global marketing deliverables through the Integrated Business Team (IBT) and in partnership with key markets; lead agency relationships, workflow, and commercial budget.
Develop high-impact plans for key congresses in collaboration with other AstraZeneca teams, including GPT and IBT.
Strengthen the internal community for growing the Bladder Cancer franchise: provide leadership across markets and support communication efforts.
Partner with regions to understand performance drivers and barriers and adapt plans to enhance business outcomes.
Develop and deliver key brand presentations to leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
5 + years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with experience in brand marketing, sales, market research/analytics, or strategic planning.
Strong ability to manage complex projects and work within a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and work collaboratively across functions and markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
Deep oncology experience
In-depth Marketing experience (developing brand strategy, performing positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, managing ad agency, providing direction on annual budget planning) on global and/or regional brand team
Experience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal and Digital, Patient marketing)
Sales/Customer-facing experience
This position can be based at our sites in Gaithersburg, MD, Cambridge, UK, or Mississauga, Canada. The annual base pay for this position ranges from $180,875.20 - 271,312.80 USD. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
